FM Group of Companies was established in Chennai, India in the year of 1935 by Late Megrajji. A father who dreamt of changing business style from trading into manufacturing and a son who made his dream come true. This is the true story behind the creation of visionary foundation called FM Group of Companies.
In the year 1986, Mr. Ramesh Jain established a small scale industry in the field of shampoo at Chennai. After 2 years of hard effort in it then he came out with flying colours. After aggressive marketing strategy in the state of Tamil Nadu he decided to move his product to the rest of South India. When he raised the marketing flag in Andhra Pradesh for marketing his product he got an idea for setting up a cosmetics industry. Then he made his own dream come true by taking over the well known brand “Rita”. Rita Hair Oil is sold with good demand in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and Madhya Pradesh.
World was changing too fast by following Indian culture of using Ayurvedic medicines. In the year of 2006, a fine day came in the life of Mr. Ramesh Jain to take over the well known brand “Franch” – A leader in Ayurvedic, Herbal & Neutraceutical products in India.
Today the company has succeeded in marketing Franch Oil NH* Plus and a range of other Ayurvedic, Herbal and Neutraceutical products all over India. Franch products are now a household name in South India.
Situated in the heart of Chennai, India the company is aggressively pursuing its efforts in marketing the products in rest of India and Worldwide. Franch Oil NH* Plus and other Franch products are now available in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, U.K, Canada to name a few.

Origin of the Name “Franch”
Many years ago Dr. Samsen Papli was involved in the flourishing courier business in India. Most international courier companies such as DHL, UPS and others could not set-up their own operations in India due to governmental restrictions. Dr. Samsen Papli had set up a company in Chennai, India to facilitate the movement of documents in and out of India by working with international courier companies. The company was called Franchise Courier Services later it became the Franch Express to reflect the representation as franchise holder for these companies.
